You and the law
The Information Commissioners Office (ICO) code of practice provides guidance and advice for CCTV advise users how to comply with the Data Protection Act and also includes a simple checklist for users of very limited CCTV systems where the full provisions of the code would be to detailed. Footage can be used as evidence in legal proceedings.

Takeover of CCTV Systems

Maintenance of CCTV Systems
We offer a comprehensive maintenance contract to protect your CCTV system, with regular maintenance checks ensuring that your staff and business are safe. We will check that you meet all the legislation to make you compliant with the Information Commissioner’s Office.

Monitoring of and Response to CCTV Systems
Systems can be monitored by our 24hr Alarm Receiving Centre. Systems monitored this way will require the installation of a separate high-speed video link and a separate monitoring contract to that of the intruder alarm system.
Astron have carried out major system installs, small additions to existing set ups, and fault finding. Their annual servicing is very thorough, any faults are discussed, and solutions agreed with the engineer.
They are open and informative at every stage of the install and their engineers are dedicated and very professional. The work was completed in a timely manner and to a very high standard.
